Into The Spider-Verse - Greatness Through Reversal | Film Perfection
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse is Sony's answer to its previous animated efforts of the Emoji Movie. The film is amazing in many regards -- bold narrative, incredible visuals, etc -- but perhaps the greatest highlight is its ability of using reversals. In today's episode of Film Perfection, let's take a closer look at Into the Spiderverse and try to figure out how it uses reversals and what it achieves by doing so.
Interesting to see what they do with Into The Spiderverse 2. The Spiderverse after credits scene here with Oscar Isaac is great and also opens up a lot of possibilities. Will they tie this franchise to the feature films and bring in familiar faces like Tom Hardy's Venom or Tom Holland's Peter Parker and Spider-man? In any case, this movie bodes well for the Spider-man franchise.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
After a bite from a radioactive spider grants him superpowers, Brooklyn teen Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) becomes the one and only Spider-Man. When a gateway into the multiverse opens up, Miles soon realizes he isn't the only spider superhero out there, as he meets many different versions of himself pulled in from other universes, including the original Peter Parker (Jake Johnson) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld). Together they fight off the evil Kingpin (Liev Schreiber) and attempt to save the world. Directed by Bob Persichetti.
Captain America: Civil War
In this superhero epic, the denizens of the Marvel Universe are forced to pick sides when Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) come to blows over ideological differences. After a mission involving a new Avengers squad led by Cap ends with several civilian casualties in Lagos, the team are asked to sign an agreement that would force them to take orders from a United Nations panel. Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) pressures Cap to accept this new arrangement, in part because he feels deeply guilty about his own past recklessness; Captain America, however, fears that the Avengers will only be corrupted by bureaucracy. Their disagreement eventually escalates into all-out war when Cap's old friend Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), now a brainwashed assassin known as the Winter Soldier, reenters the picture. Captain America: Civil War brings back former Avengers characters such as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Vision (Paul Bettany); The Tragedy of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse; into the spiderverse cinemasins; into the spiderverse everything wrong with; honest trailer into the spiderverse; it also drags into the fray low-rent superhero Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), and introduces both the powerful African prince Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and a new, younger incarnation of Spider-Man (Tom Holland). Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
